Mt. Ugu Traverse Climb
Admiring a view of Pulag in the background
The view was scenic most of the time. We had a brief stop at the
Old Sawmill along the way.
Everyone, including the "petiks" group led by Liza, was already at the summit
by 5 PM. From the extreme heat of the day, the temperature quickly dropped and
it was so cold. Brrrrrr! We immediately pitched our tents and prepared dinner.
We were all busy setting camp when sunset arrived. The pictures I was able to
take were mostly duds, when the sun had sunk and there's not much color
to paint the sky.
For dinner, my meal group had rice, "pakbet," "adobo" and deep-fried potatoes.
We had socials but there wasn't much drink to go around. The full moon at the
summit was great and it illuminated the camp site until morning.
