Cambulo, Ifugao |
The trek to Cambulo required us to climb the stairway-to-heaven rice terraces of Batad. We crossed a stream as we descended and traversed the hillside of another mountain. |

Cambulo is a picturesque Ifugao village nestled at the foot of a mountain range. The Ifugao thatched huts are well preserved. The local folks, especially the children are very hospitable. |

The picture below shows me marvelling at the scenery in the middle of a suspension bridge crossing the Wang Wang River, which I suspect is the same one feeding the Tappiya Waterfalls in Batad. The backdrop also shows some rice terraces. |

I could extend my stay in this village, doing nothing but cuddling up in bed and strolling around the village whenever I feel like it. |
